A public concert calendar built on the Localist API, with ticket purchase from the listing.

Hundreds of concerts, recitals and masterclasses a season lived in Localist, but the school's public calendar was a thin embed nobody could brand or filter properly. Visitors could not narrow by ensemble, venue or date, and buying a ticket meant leaving for an unrelated page and hunting for the right event.
Built a calendar inside a Cascade CMS multisite against the Localist API — cached and normalized feeds server-side, then filtering by date range, ensemble, venue and free-vs-ticketed, plus individual event pages with full program detail. Wired each ticketed event’s listing straight through to its purchase flow so buying starts from the event the visitor is already reading. PHP makes the server-side Localist API requests and caches the responses; JavaScript drives the filtering and the calendar and list views without page reloads.
One branded calendar the school owns the look of, with tickets one click from the listing instead of a separate search. Event staff keep working in Localist — the site follows their data with no second entry.
